To the shoppers and staff at Aldi on Saturday morning, Oct. 10: When I was in the check-out line I realized I did not put my mask on when I got out of the car. I grabbed another one I keep in my purse, but I know it was too late to prevent the anxiety you must have felt. It is one thing to endanger myself, but inexcusable to put others in harm’s way. I am so sorry!

Thank you all for wearing your masks — you kept a bad situation from being any worse. Now I will think of you — and wear my mask — every time I am in public.
