I thought Rachael’s Rants editorial was very informative and reflective on what many of us have questions about. Her personal experience with COVID-19 gave people an insight into some of COVID-19’s symptoms and what might one expect especially if they are a senior and have no outside contact with others because of fear of getting COVID-19.

Although the News Mirror goes to great lengths to inform readers in its article “County updates its vaccine distribution schedule, two phases” by Dina Collunga, which was very informative and clear, I live in Riverside County and this newspaper should cover not only San Bernardino County but I would very much like to see the same information given about residents who live in Riverside County, like myself.

Along those lines, I would also want to request if COVID-19 testing sites for BOTH Riverside County and San Bernardino County could be posted daily for many people who need them. Many seniors where I live don’t have computers and can’t look online for these resources. Information on available foodbanks in the area would also help. During these hard financial times, free health services available in the Calimesa area would be helpful. And future vaccine information would be helpful, your article on Vons article regarding distribution did address that to some degree.
