I wish I could have a positive word for Trump, but alas, I cannot. Throughout his presidency, it seems he has only acted for his own selfish interests above the needs of the American people he represents.

In this growing health crisis, he again values the economy over the lives of real people who are sacrificing and struggling. He seems to be losing patience with health experts who suggest a way of tempering the spread of COVID-19 by sheltering in place and avoiding crowds and non-essential business.

Trump has shown he is not fit to be a leader of the American people, much less a person whose advice one should follow. One of my daughters is a registered nurse and is at risk dealing with patients who are now hospitalized. I prefer her advice over Trump’s.
