I have this simple but loud speaking idea for the city of Yucaipa, Calimesa, Oak Glen… I think this would be an awesome “team effort.”

Sept. 11 marks the worst day in the history of the United States since the attack on Pearl Harbor.

That day, Sept. 11, 2001 was horrific – but it brought extreme good out of the American people.

We united as a country, small towns, large cities, people everywhere throughout America were stunned and speechless from this cruel, surprise, planned attack on us, all people. We became stronger, we helped and comforted one another.

What I think would be great, would be for everyone in our town to proudly fly our country’s colors, the American Flag, this Sept. 11.

Maybe our local hardware stores can offer a BOGO on flags (buy one get one). I have a few I can give away if someone can’t afford to buy one. Let’s do this! We need to do something good. Let’s not let it take another 9/11 to reunite us. We need to do this now.

God bless America, your land and my land.
