William Jeffrey Richardson

William Jeffrey (Jeff) Richardson died suddenly from cardiac arrest on Oct. 16, 2021. Jeff was born on Nov. 24, 1960. He grew up in Yucaipa and graduated from Yucaipa High School in 1979. His friends and family describe him as a really good man, the greatest friend ever, and a kind, loving and giving soul.

In 2016, Jeff established his own business; Outside/In Home Inspection in Yucaipa. He also provided quality handyman work for many Yucaipa businesses and residents. Prior to establishing Outside/In Home Inspection Jeff worked as a HVAC technician for 18 years. As part of his HVAC training, Jeff received certification as a universal technician and in the use of Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recov-ery and Recycling (MVACRRR). Part of the fourth graduating Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Jeff was excited to serve the Yucaipa community through his commitment to citywide emergency preparedness.

Jeff enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing league pool at Yucaipa Billiards. He doted on his nieces and nephews; James Philip Richardson, William Fletcher Lee Richardson, Charlotte Richardson and Candace Morone.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James Richard-son Sr., his mother, Betty June Richardson, his older brother, James Joseph Richardson and sister, Janelle Richardson.

He leaves behind his brother John Richardson and John’s wife Anne Taylor, his sister Jaime Richardson, sister-in-law Barbara Richardson, his be-loved nieces and nephews, step-mother Erika Richardson and treasured aunt and uncle, Lowell and Maryanne Richard-son. Jeff also leaves behind his constant companion and loyal canine friend, Togar.
