Timothy Paul Monroe

Timothy (Tim) Paul Monroe, died Oct. 27, 2021, in Apple Valley. He was born in Wichita, Kan., but grew up in Yucaipa along with his older sister Tressie Ovinna Phankuche who lives in Oklahoma.

Tim is survived by his four children, Genta Donaho, Semone Monroe, Song Ramos, and Teea Nelson. During his time living in Apple Valley, he became close with his ex-brother and sister in-law Mingo and Rose Lopez and their three daughters.

Tim was an accomplished carpenter and framer and continued working up to the time of his passing. There was nothing that he could not build and took much pride and joy in doing so. At an early age he developed a love for riding motorcycles like his father John. Also becoming quite a talented musician like his mother Dortha. Having a lifted four-wheel drive truck became one of his trademarks. He had a special knack for making people laugh with his goofy sayings, one being calling everybody a “macarena” laughing, bringing a sparkle to his eyes that will be much missed.

Tim looked forward with the hope of earthly resurrection as laid out in the Bible.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, memorial services will be family only.
