James “Jim” Randolph Kleeman, 75, passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, after fighting a long hard battle of pancreatic cancer with many other complications. He was a resident of Yucaipa for 38 years.
He was born Sept. 5, 1944, to Arthur and Frances Kleeman in San Bernardino.
Jim attended Pacific High School and was a star football player for the school.
Jim was a Navy veteran and served from 1964-1966. He was a Vietnam vet.
He started out working for Pacific telephone then it became AT&T, Lucent, retired from Avaya. He was a true company man and worked for 44 years.
He was a member of the Yucaipa Elks Lodge and the American Legion.
Jim loved to play poker and always said about life, “play the hand you are dealt.”
He was a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
Jim is survived by his wife, Debby (Deborah Ann) who he was married to for 52 years; sons James Brody, Anthony Judd and daughter Heather and son-in-law Jon; four grandchildren, Lucas, Jessica, Daniel and Erika; four great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Carter, Robert Daniel and Madilyn; brother Kenneth and his wife Patsy of Florida.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the Yucaipa Elks Lodge, 12165 Second St. in Yucaipa.
