Jacqueline Lee Strohl of Yucaipa, died Nov. 4, 2022, in her home with her beloved husband Charles by her side. She was born on June 2, 1926, in Temple City. She was an avid reader throughout her life. Growing up near Hollywood, she also became a lover of classic Hollywood movies which she passed to her daughter, Cathy. On Oct. 6,1957, she married Charles Strohl and they moved to Lynwood. She was a housewife when their daughter was young. She later joined her husband in the operation of their jewelry store in Long Beach. She was a member of the Long Beach Christian Women’s Club.
In 1975, they built and later moved to their dream house in Yucaipa. They became active members of the Yucaipa Methodist Church. She was also an active member of Eastern Star. In retirement, Charles and Jacqueline enjoyed traveling. Among her favorite places to visit were the Holy Land, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and England.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Charles, her daughter Cathy Roswell and son-in-law George Roswell, her grandson Jeremy and granddaughter-in-law Amanda, grand-daughter Jessica, and great granddaughters Kimberly and Jacquelyn.
Interment will be at Redlands National Cemetery on Nov. 28, at 1:45 p.m.
