Violet Lou White-Bernard Garday died March 20, 2021. She was originally from Paris, Ark. She graduated from Ripon High school in California. Violet moved to Yucaipa in 1968. She was a registered nurse and mother.
Edward “Ed” Ireton, 64, died March 1, 2021, surrounded by his wife and children. Ed was diagnosed with terminal cancer in August of 2020 and despite his prognosis, fought valiantly to stay with his loved ones until he was called home to be with the Lord.
Robert (Bob) Gary Traylor died on March 9, 2021, at Loma Linda University Hospital of cardiopulmonary arrest. He was born in Beatrice, Neb., on Aug. 24, 1940, to Robert and Ruth Traylor.
Jane Schad, 95, died Nov. 25, 2020 at Kaiser Fontana Hospital. After hip replacement surgery, Jane was transported to a skilled nursing facility for follow-up physical therapy. Three weeks later, she died of septic shock and COVID-19.
Fred W. Jacobsen, 90, died Saturday morning, Feb. 27, 2021, at home in Yucaipa. He was born in Denison, Iowa, on July 10, 1930, to William Robert Jeschke and Viola Elizabeth Jacobsen.
Charlotte Greenhalgh (Green), died Feb. 26, 2021, at home in Yucaipa. She left this world with the dignity she has possessed all her life. Charlotte was born in Kanab, Utah, to Clyde and Julia Young on July 22, 1943. She was married to Lee for 55 years.
Robert “Bob” J. Powell, 81, died at home with family present on Feb. 8, 2021. He had been battling a lengthy illness before his passing. He was born Aug. 25, 1939, in Mobile, Ala. He grew up in Fontana and in his early years, he worked at Kaiser Steel and his parents restaurant, Harold’s.
Donita Bryant, 75, died Feb. 6, 2021, at home in Calimesa. She was born on Oct. 29, 1945. Donita was a resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., and loved working at the Colorado Belle for 19 years. She made friends everywhere she went.
James Aaron “Big Country” Gilfedder age 19, died unexpectedly Jan. 30, 2021. James was born July 19, 2001, in Palm Springs. James loved family, friends, baseball, fishing, off-roading and boating.
Lillian Evangeline Brandt died at her home Jan. 12, 2021. She is the daughter of Johan Gustaf and Anna Christina Erickson Freeburg. She was born on Neville Island, June 25, 1924.
