On Friday, Oct. 8, live musical headliners will include Fortunate Son, a tribute to CCR and John Fogerty, and local youth bands from San Bernardino Teen Workshop. On Saturday, activities and performances include Yucaipa Dance, Costume Contests, Yucaipa High School Band performance, and live music by Doublewide, a country cover band, The Boogie Knights, a tribute to the 70s and Disco, and The Spazmatics, an 80s cover band, all at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC) Outdoor Stage. Activities on Friday night are sure to kick off an amazing weekend! The Autumnfest Car Show and Show ‘N’ Go returns to Uptown on Yucaipa Boule-vard between Second Street and the California Street Roundabout. Car show registration is free (no preregistration required). Cars may begin entering Yucaipa Boulevard at Second Street on Friday at 5 p.m. One of the highlights every year at Autumnfest is the Show ‘N’ Go Car Show where the classic cars cruise the roundabouts while onlookers get to see the cars in action. The Show ‘N’ Go begins at 8:30 p.m. and Best of Show and Top 10 awards will be given out at the Main Stage at 9 p.m. Saturday activities begin at 3 p.m. with a Touch-A-Truck event on Yucaipa Boulevard between First Street and the California Street roundabout. Come out to experience all kinds of trucks on display from local organizations including police, fire and more. Activities on Saturday also include the kids costume and pet costume contests. The pet costume contest will begin at 3:30 p.m. Kids ages 12 and under can compete in a friendly costume contest with prizes at the Main Stage at 3:45 p.m. The action-packed Kids Zone will be located on Yucaipa Boulevard near Adams Street and will feature several jumpers for kids and toddlers. Inside the YPAC, brave thrill-seekers will find the annual Autumnfest haunted house and anyone who walks through is sure to be spooked all weekend! In addition to the live entertainment and festival activities, food and merchandise vendors will line the streets of Uptown Yucaipa on California Street and Yucaipa Boulevard. Festival goers can find the beer and wine garden next to the Uptown Park. Interested in being a vendor at the festival? Few spots remain and vendor applications are available through Yucaipa.org or by emailing the chamber at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
