The rain started to pour today, Monday, Sept. 12, and fears of mudslides in north Yucaipa, Oak Glen and Forest Falls came to fruition.

Oak Glen

Charles Roger Seheult captured this mudflow on Oak Glen Road today at approximately 3 p.m.

In Forest Falls, no one is able to get up or come down the mountain, and it is advised for affected residents to shelter in place, due to large flows across Valley of the Falls Drive. Lower Canyon is particularly affected with damage to several homes. Power is out.

Lower Canyon, Forest Falls flooding.

In Yucaipa, Casa Blanca is closed at Oak Glen Road.  Public safety officials and San bernardino County partners are working to address mudslides in affected areas.

In Oak Glen there are several mudslides and damage to homes.

Fire officials and residents alike, hope the rain will cease and for an expedient clearance of all blocked roads.
