YHS cross country girls take top in CIF Prelims

YHS girls cross country team at the CIF Prelims.

The Yucaipa High School girls’ cross country team took first place in the CIF Prelims and will race in the CIF Finals on Saturday, Nov. 23. The top seven teams will advance to the California State Championships.

The Yucaipa High School varsity girls’ teams took the top spot in the prelims among 19 schools throughout the region.

The Yucaipa High School boys’ team placed ninth in their Division 1 heat; however Yucaipa needed to be among the top eight teams to advance to the CIF Finals.
