A full closure of the 91 freeway at the I-15 interchange, including the 91 Express Lanes, is scheduled for late Monday, May 18 to early morning Tuesday, May 19 (westbound from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and eastbound from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m.) to pour the concrete bridge deck at the 15/91 interchange.
Westbound 91 motorists are directed to use Hidden Valley Parkway as a detour, and eastbound 91 motorists should use Magnolia Avenue as a detour. Please allow for extra travel time.
Lane reductions also will be in place on the northbound I-15, near the 91 interchange, while work is being performed.
The planned closure is as follows:
Monday, May 18 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., 91 West, all lanes closed at McKinley Avenue to I-15 with 15 north having lane reductions.
Monday, May 18 from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m., 91 East, all lanes closed at Main Street to I-15 with 15 North lane reductions.
The 15 Express Lanes project is adding two tolled express lanes in each direction on I-15 between Cajalco Road and Route 60, a distance of approximately 15 miles. Drivers will be able to enter and exit the tolled facility at multiple locations, and the project continues RCTC's ongoing commitment to expand the express lanes network. Construction in the median began in March 2018. The new lanes are expected to open during the second half of 2020.
Due to the dynamic nature of construction, this information is subject to change.
