Century Group Vice President Pamela Eldridge retires after 15 years

Pamela Eldridge, vice president of Century Group Newspapers, has announced her retirement, effective Oct. 17.

Century Group Newspapers own Yucaipa-Calimesa News Mirror, Record Gazette, Redlands Community News, Fontana Herald News and Highland Community News.

Eldridge was hired in Aug. 23, 2004, as an accounting supervisor and was eventually promoted to vice president of Century Group on Aug. 1, 2010, at the main office in Yucaipa.

“Pamela has done a wonderful job for us over the past 15 years and we will miss her very much,” said Century Group owner Jerry Bean. “We wish her well in retirement.” 

Toebe Bush, president/CEO of Century Group Newspapers echoed the sentiments.

“Pamela has been a pleasure to work with over the last 15 years,” said Bush. “I wish her much happiness in her well deserved retirement.”

Eldridge is an animal advocate and worked previously at an animal rescue. In her retirement, she will spend more time at home in Yucaipa with her spouse John and her two beloved dogs, Zoo-Zoo and Peanut. She also plans to spend more time with her two grandchildren, James and Josh.
