The Yucaipa Youth Advisory Committee held a Starry Night winter formal on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC).
“I thought the dance was one of the coolest and most well put together dances that I have ever been to," said attendee Jacob Stuart. "All of the work staff was very kind and accommodating. The music and lighting was incredible. All the energy at the event was really amazing. My favorite part was definitely the music and lighting on the dance floor. There were really great songs and music choices and great lighting to go with it. I would definitely come back to a dance held here and will be speaking with my ASB director about this venue.”
Yucaipa High School (YHS) freshman Ashlyn Arazia enjoyed the music at the YPAC.
“The dance was probably one of the best dances I have been to," she said. "My favorite part was the mosh pits and the music. I would definitely come back to a dance held at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center.”
Junior Angela Gerber concurred.
“The dance was absolutely amazing, I enjoyed myself so much and enjoyed meeting new people. My favorite part was definitely how cool the dance floor was with all the lights and the super loud speakers. I would definitely go back to another dance held by the city of Yucaipa Youth Advisory committee."
London Patriquin, Chairman of the Youth Advisory Committee thanked the city of Yucaipa.
“The Starry Night winter formal dance we hosted was the best dance I’ve ever been to! The vibe was great!” he said. “We had a diverse group of folks, who were very interactive. I think my favorite part was standing up on stage and watching the attendees enjoying themselves, it was a humbling moment. Thank you to the city of Yucaipa for hosting. I can’t wait to do it again next year!”
