FSA and SBCSD HOPE team partners to deliver food to homeless

Yucaipa Lt. James Porter and an unidentified Redlands officer pick up boxes of food for delivery.

Family Service Association of Redlands recognizes the importance of serving during the COVID-19 crisis.

While normal operations have closed- a limited staff has partnered with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hope Team to provide food boxes until FSA reopens. The Hope team serves as front line outreach officers to provide resources and make connections with homeless individuals and families.

FSA has also partnered with city of Redlands Police Community Outreach Department  and the city of Yucaipa Police Department to get food out to those who need it most.

Further- FSA is taking limited crisis appointments for families experiencing homelessness and with no other shelter options. FSA is working to stabilize them with the help of case management and emergency motel vouchers, food and hygiene kits.

During this  very unique experience and time of uncertainty, FSA will continue to communicate as things progress.
