SUMMARY: On Sept. 18, Larissa Castro, 21, Trenton Clark, 21, Amanda Matney, 20, and a 16-year-old juvenile all residents of Yucaipa, drove to the victim’s residence for the purpose of assaulting the victim. Once at the residence, the juvenile suspect and Castro, who were known to the victim, approached the front door. The victim answered the door and a fight ensued. After being knocked to the ground, the victim fought back in self-defense.

The other adults joined in the attack and the victim sustained significant injuries. The 16-year-old suspect also sustained serious injuries. All four suspects fled the residence in a vehicle. They stopped nearby and called 9-1-1 for medical aid for the juvenile suspect. The juvenile suspect was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment and was later released.

After a lengthy investigation, Castro, Matney and Clark were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, and booked into the Central Detention Center. Their individual charges range from: Conspiracy, Accessory, and Assault. The juvenile suspect was arrested and released to a parent.
