On Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019. at 1:12 p.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Police Station initiated an investigation of a possible kidnapped female being held at a residence in the 12000 block of Fifth St. in Yucaipa. Deputies located the female and determined she was a victim of pimping and pandering by two males – Russel Marriott, 61, of Yucaipa and Walter “Riccey” Paschal, 48, of Yucaipa - linked to the residence.
During service of a search warrant at the residence, deputies contacted and detained Marriott, but Paschal was not at the location. Deputies determined both suspects (Marriott and Paschal) had been involved in supporting, encouraging and profiting from the prostitution of the victim and had possibly engaged in pimping other females in and around the Yucaipa area.
The victim was given access to support services and provided transportation back to her hometown in Northern California.
Marriott was arrested at the scene and a warrant was obtained for the arrest of Paschal. Marriott was transported and booked into West Valley Detention Center for felony charges of Pimping and Pandering and is being held in lieu of $100,000.
Walter “Riccey” Paschal’s whereabouts are unknown at this time. A $300,000 warrant for commercialized sex was issued for Paschal’s arrest. Deputies believe there are other unidentified victims related to this case and are asking that anyone with information related to this investigation, or the whereabouts of Walter “Riccey” Paschal, please contact the Yucaipa Station at 918-2305.
