On Sunday, June 14, at about 9:55 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-11 convenience store located on Bryant Street near Yucaipa Boulevard. While conducting an area check for the suspect vehicle, a witness called 9-1-1 reporting the location of the vehicle. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The driver, later identified as Kingston Glass, 21, of San Bernardino, fled from deputies until he entered a dead-end street. Both Glass and a passenger fled on foot from the vehicle. Glass was caught in a field shortly after exiting the vehicle. The passenger ran across the I-10 Freeway but was located by Sheriff's Aviation and detained.

Both were transported to the Yucaipa Station for investigation of Robbery, Conspiracy, and Felony evading. Glass was arrested, transported and booked into the Central Detention Center for robbery. The passenger was not arrested.

Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Yucaipa Station at 918-2305. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous may contact We-Tip at 1-888-78-CRIME.
