On August 5, Yucaipa Police Department deputies responded to a reported sexual battery at a residence on Fifth Street. The victim was sitting outside on a covered porch when the suspect approached her. He was wearing a work vest covering a shirt and tie and was not wearing a name tag or any visible company identification. The suspect spoke to the victim briefly before beginning to touch the victim. The victim walked away and, before she could enter the home, the suspect sexually battered her.

The suspect left on foot and no vehicle has been linked to him at this time. The suspect is a Hispanic male, approximately 40 to 50 years of age, about 5’10” and 200 lbs. The suspect possibly has an unknown tattoo on the left side of his neck.

A video and photos of the suspect are being released. Anyone with information regarding this incident, or the identification of the suspect, is urged to contact Yucaipa Station at 918-2305. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to call We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463) or you may leave information on the website at www.wetip.com.
