On Monday, March 25, at approximately 3:09 p.m., Yucaipa Multiple Enforcement Team Deputy A. Alcala and San Bernardino County Probation Officer S. Ulloa initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a gray Lincoln sedan near the intersection of Yucaipa Boulevard and Third Street.

Deputy Alcala contacted the driver, later identified as David Harris, 36, of Yucaipa, and a record check of Harris revealed he was on felony probation for possession of methamphetamine for sales and had a felony no bail warrant for violation of probation. Harris was arrested for the felony no bail warrant. During the search of his vehicle, a black sock hidden inside the center console containing several rounds of ammunition was located, as was a glass methamphetamine pipe.

Harris is a convicted felon and is not allowed to possess ammunition. He was booked at Central Detention Center for the felony no bail warrant, felon in possession of ammunition and possession of drug paraphernalia.
