Antonio Alcala is the Yucaipa Police Department’s Deputy of the Year 2020. Alcala was awarded a plaque on Jan. 20. He also received his third vehicle theft recovery award. He has been with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department for nine years and assigned to Yucaipa station since July of 2016. As a MET deputy, his duties include probation compliance checks, warrant arrest, search warrants and proactive enforcement.   Â
