Yucaipa's Ice Rink is back

Check out Yucaipa's cool ice rink. 

Back for a second season, the city of Yucaipa’s Uptown Ice Rink will open Saturday, Nov. 26. at Winterfest. The rink will feature 3,700 square feet of real ice, fire pits rentals, group party packages, private rink buyouts for groups of 50 or more, DJ entertainment and theme nights.

Prices for children, ages 3-11 start at $10, and $15 for ages 12 and up. Prices will increase slightly on the weekends (Friday to Sunday). Hours starting Nov. 27, through Dec. 18, are 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday; 1 to 10 p.m., Friday through Sunday. The hours will adjust for the winter break from Dec. 19, through Jan. 1, 2023, hours will be noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and noon to 10 p.m., Friday through Sunday.

There are modified hours for Christmas Eve (noon to 4 p.m.), Christmas Day, (4 to 8 p.m.) New Year’s Eve (4 to 10 p.m.) and New Year’s Day (noon to 10 p.m.). For information on pricing and scheduling your large group event visit the website, www.yucaipa.org/icerink or email ecampbell-@yucaipa.org.

New this year, are theme nights. Theme nights include Giveback Wednesdays, Ugly Sweater Thursdays, DJ Night's on Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m, Holiday Movies on Dec. 4, and Dec. 18, movie starts at 5 p.m., Teen Night hosted by the Youth Advisory Committee on Dec. 9, from 6 to 10 p.m., Uptown Toy Drive hosted by Brewcaipa on Dec.r 11, from 1 to 6 p.m. and Craft Night on Dec. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. More themed nights are being planned, so be sure to check the website regularly for the most up-to-date information.
