Yucaipa’s Concerts in the Park ended with a bang on Aug. 11, at Yucaipa Community Park on Oak Glen Road. It was the most crowded of any concert this summer. Gypsy, a Fleetwood Mac cover band wowed the crowd with numbers, dancing and even costume changes.
Megan Wolfe, Yucaipa Director of Community Services gave an approximate estimate of 1,200 concertgoers.
“I’m so happy that we were able to provide another year of free Concerts in the Park at the beautiful Yucaipa community park amphitheater. We had a great range of various music genres this year and we look forward to the 2020 Concerts in the Park.”
In addition to live music, vendors and outdoor games, vintage cars were on display as part of the concert event.
The free concerts are part of an annual Yucaipa tradition. Concerts were also held at Wildwood Park in the past, but most recently, all concerts have been held at Yucaipa Community Center Amphitheater at 33000 Oak Glen Road.
