Roundabout Sweets & Treats celebrates its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony

The staff of Roundabout Sweets & Treats celebrates their grand opening.

Roundabout Sweets & Treats officially cut the ribbon for the business on Oct. 12, but has been selling candy at their shop on the corner of Yucaipa Boulevard and California Street since April.

“We had a soft opening during the Music and Arts Festival in April,” said owner Randy Murray. “We finally got to the point now where we had to close and remodel once, and now we can have our grand opening.”

The packed grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and free lemonade and popcorn.

“Business has been fantastic,” said Murray. And the city has been a joy to work with through this... supporting us so much and essentially bending over backward to assist us in getting the facade remodeled. The community has been very supportive.”

The shop filled with tasty treats, and looking like a vintage candy shop, has a lot to offer the new sweet tooth.

“We have about 285 different candies,” said Murray. “We have 14 different flavors of gourmet popcorn, and seven different flavors of jerky. We have fine chocolates, handmade chocolates, and we also carry six different kinds of caramel apples.”

The company has spent approximately four-and-a-half months remodeling the interior and adding the awnings on the exterior during the signage.

If you would like to try some of the fabulous sweets, you can visit Roundabout Sweets & Treats located at 35095 Yucaipa Blvd. for more information, go to www.roundaboutsweetstreats.com.
