On Thursday, April 28, 2022, 8:00 a.m., Deputy Ziemer responded to Flag Hill Veterans Park graffiti incident call. At the time, an unknown suspect had spray painted several areas of the park with graffiti. 

Deputy Bremer went to a similar vandalism call for service at Seventh Street park with the same style graffiti and spray paint colors. The cost to repair the graffiti is $8000.

With the help of the Beaumont Police Department, Ziemer identified the suspect as 18-year-old Yucaipa resident, Anthony Synder-Lopez. 

Ziemer and a Beaumont detective located Lopez. Lopez was interviewed about the vandalism and after the interview, he was arrested on felony vandalism and booked at Central Detention Center.
